2014 Spring Refresher Course

The 2014 Spring Refresher Course provides a comprehensive review of disease site treatment management, evidence-based guidelines, best practices, safety issues and contraindications. At the end of the program, attendees should be able to apply the information provided in daily practice applications and in preparation for board examinations. This program is designed to do the following:

Increase competence through interactive, didactic lectures in the following core areas: breast, head and neck, lymphomas, quality and safety, prostate, gynecologic, gastrointestinal, radiobiology, pediatric, lung and central nervous system malignancies. Connect radiation physics, radiobiology, safety and quality to the clinical sessions. Keep radiation oncologists abreast of the rapidly changing areas in the radiation sciences.
