15th Society for Research on Adolescence (SRA) Biennial Meeting

SRA is excited to be collaborating this year with the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM). SAHM's national meeting will take place in Austin immediately following the SRA meeting. SAHM participants are invited to come a day early (Saturday, March 22nd) and attend sessions of their choosing at the SRA meetings.

SRA participants are encouraged to stay a day later (Sunday, March 23) and attend sessions at the SAHM meeting. Several other SRA-SAHM events are currently being planned for Saturday and Sunday. There will also be a shared Saturday evening event for attendees of both meetings led by the leadership of each society.

SRA is pleased to announce a special event during the biennial meeting: “Adolescence in Diverse Contexts” Poster Session Reception and Breakfast Hour. This special poster session with a reception will focus exclusively on research that addresses diversity issues in adolescence.

The purpose of this session is to increase the representation of work that focuses on underrepresented racial and ethnic groups; sexual minority youth; individuals with disabilities; and individuals from economically, socially, culturally, or educationally disadvantaged backgrounds. Coffee and refreshments will be served.
