Shattuck Lecture: Chronic Infectious Disease

Infectious diseases are a leading cause of illness and death throughout the world. This year’s Shattuck lecturer, one of the world’s leading voices for global health, will educate attendees about chronic infectious diseases of the past, present, and future, and will address the necessary changes to be made in the U.S. health care system in order to meet the challenge of dealing with these diseases.
