Selection and Medical Management of Weight Loss Surgery Patients

Learn how to manage patients who have undergone weight loss surgery. This post graduate course is intended as a foundation to teach medical professionals about the latest advances in metabolic and weight loss surgical techniques, the identification of patients suitable for surgery, and the weight loss surgery evaluation process. This course focuses on the long term post-surgical medical management of the patient for successful weight loss, the management of co-morbidities and identifying potential risks. This course will be led by a multidisciplinary expert faculty from Duke University.
