Pediatric Cancer at the Crossroads: Translating Discovery Into Improved Outcomes

This AACR Special Conference will address the unique issues and challenges to investigating and effectively treating childhood cancers. The theme of this conference will be the translation of recent discoveries in the basic mechanisms of pediatric cancer into improved outcomes for patients. Sessions will include the most up-to-date findings on the developmental biology of pediatric malignancies, genetic predisposition to pediatric cancers, and pivotal clinical trials. Strategies for translating basic science findings into treatments with a clinical impact will be highlighted throughout the conference.
