The overall goal for this year’s conference is improving patient care through increasing learner competence that leads to improved performance in applying evidence based use of emerging treatment options of renal denervation in hypertension management, transradial PCI for better patient outcomes relative to traditional femoral access, strategies to recognize and address disparities in cardiovascular care, imaging modalities for quantifi cation of mitral regurgitation & for timing and guidance of intervention, TAVR in appropriate patients with aortic valve disease and prevention, recognition, management of infections associated with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIED).
