OVERVIEW
The primary purpose of the course is to enable subspecialty interventional
neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons, and neurologists to improve imaging interpretation of
the brain, spine and vascular systems. This will be achieved by providing an updated
review of evidence-based practice, with particular emphasis on neurovascular diseases,
such as aneurysms, arteriovenous fistulas, arteriovenous malformations, acute ischemic
stroke, and atherosclerosis; as well as novel and emerging technologies, such as
physiologic imaging, advanced angiography, and state-of-the-art interventional devices.
