Medicine of Cycling Conference

The Fourth Annual Medicine of Cycling Conference will be held at USA Cycling and the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO September 20 – 22nd, 2013. The conference is presented by the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine and Medicine of Cycling in collaboration with USA Cycling.

The conference will begin Friday, September 20th, with a Medical Emergencies in Cycling Course (MECC), and an evening welcome reception. On Saturday, September 21st and Sunday, September 22nd, we will have presentations, break-out sessions and panel discussions on topics such as: orthopedic injury, rehabilitation, performance enhancing drugs in cycling, concussion, nutrition, dermatology, cardiology, sports psychology, bike fit and more. In addition to conference presentations, we will host a group ride on Saturday afternoon taking participants on a tour of the legendary Garden of the Gods.
