OVERVIEW
Contemporary Multidisciplinary Cardiovascular Medicine is a unique teaching symposium for all practicing cardiologist, cardiologist-in-training, physicians and allied health professionals who care for patients with heart disease. This two-and-a-half day symposium will highlight the latest advances and clinical hot button issues in cardiovascular medicine.
Presentations by both Ohio State and invited faculty, comprised of national and international experts, will provide a comprehensive learning experience. The format of the presentations will include didactic lectures, debates, audience response system, question and answer sessions and clinical case presentations. All of these are designed to encourage discussion and audience participation. The broad range of topics will cover the most important issues in heart failure, valvular heart disease, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology and hypertension.
