Physicians need to understand how health reforms and policy changes will influence the future of medicine. The Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS) believes that physician leadership is key to successfully implementing and managing a new health care paradigm. Participants will improve their leadership skills while by learning from leading edge, world-renowned health care thought-leaders who will teach new the concepts and tools that will help to improve quality, efficiency, and innovative physician practices.
As a graduate school and research institution, The Heller School at Brandeis University has been a pioneer in a broad range of policy areas that include payment reforms and the financing of health care services, leading change in the delivery system, coordination of care, finding best practices, and other innovations in the delivery of health and human services. MMS and Brandeis have developed a dynamic Executive Leadership Certificate Program for current and future health care leaders.
