The Cdme Course Will Meet The Fmcsa Curriculum Requirements For Mes And Be Taught By Experienced Necoem Members. Course Participants Need To Be Licensed By Their State Licensing Board To Conduct Physical Examinations, And Have Training And Experience In Obtaining Medical Histories, Performing Physical Examinations, And Managing Health Issues Related To The Fmcsa Physicalqualification Standards.
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (Fmcsa), Of The Us Department Of Transportation, Is Focused On Reducing Crashes, Injuries, And Fatalities Involving Large Trucks And Buses. By Establishing The New Fmcsa National Registry Of Certified Medical Examiners (Nrcme) They Seek To Improve Highway Safety And Driver Health Through Training And Certifying Medical Examiners (Me) Who Can Determine If A Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver’s Health Meets Fmcsa Physical Qualification Standards.
