For too long the number of new HIV cases in Massachusetts has been stable and STDs have increased. National recommendations for primary care include routine STI/HIV screening, vaccination, and treatment (including use of Expedited Partner Therapy to decrease chlamydia re-infection) of youth and young adults and other at-risk populations.
