Speakers
OVERVIEW
Given the increasing frequency of Hematologic Malignancy, especially in an aging population, as well as the complexities of individual clinical presentation, there is a need to provide an opportunity for oncologists, hematologists and oncology nurses to engage in a thoughtful examination and discussion with experts in various hematologic cancers.
There is also emerging data about the biology of these cancers that underlies modern optimal management of patients with these disorders. The expansion of patient care options in nearly all of these disordes makes decision making more complex.
This two-and-a-half day conference has been designed by experts in the field of hematologic malignancies and affords the conferee the opportunity to learn about the most recent advances in the treatment of multiple myeloma, lymphoma and leukemia. Update on improved curative and palliative treatment and evolving molecular and immonlogically-based systemic therapies, as well as important, completed or ongoing clinical trials will be profiled and discussed.
