2013 WSMA Leadership Development Conference

WSMA's annual Leadership Development Conference is scheduled for May 17 and 18 at Campbell's Resort at Lake Chelan. This weekend conference has received rave reviews from past attendees. This year's speakers include Dr. Leonard Marcus, founding co-director of the national preparedness leadership initiative, a joint program of Harvard School of Public Health and the Kennedy School of Government. Dr. Marcus will speak on leadership and conflict resolutions in complex health care organizations. Dr. David Barbe, chair-elect of the AMA and regional division president of Mercy Clinic will discuss motivating change. Our final plenary speaker, Marty Linsky will discuss leadership opportunities and challenges. Marty is on faulty at Harvard's Kennedy School and is the author of the best-selling novel Leadership on the Line.
