2013 Foundations for Practice Excellence: CORE CURRICULUM for the CARDIOVASCULAR CLINICIAN

The Core Curriculum for the Cardiovascular Clinician, now in its sixth year, covers evidence-based medicine and clinical trial data to evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular disease. Attendees learn to maximize clinical examination skills to help differentiate multiple pathologic conditions. The attendee has the opportunity to display proficiency in interpretation of 12 EKGs, heart sound assessment and completion of a thorough cardiovascular physical examination. This interactive three-day conference allows participants to engage in stimulating discussions with expert faculty through key lectures, case- and evidence-based vignettes, and specialized workshops designed to enhance clinical skills.
