1st Update Course In Pathology "Pathology Of High Mountain" is organized by United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) and will be held from Sep 17 - 20, 2020 at Hotel Alejandro I, Salta, Argentina. Course Description Professor Eduardo Santini Araujo, President of the International Academy of Pathology from 2014-2016, dreamed of high-end education for all pathologists, for his Argentinian colleagues and for all pathologists working in Latin America. Through the efforts of USCAP's first international Ambassador, Dr. Gerardo Vides Almonacid, the Minister of Public Health, province of Salta, Dr. Oscar Guido Villa Nougues opened the doors to the USCAP for the organization of "an international medical and scientific event of historical significance in Latin America. " This course, under the direction of Dr. Carlos Parra-Herran, is USCAP's first international meeting in the Spanish language.The course introduces a phenomenal faculty of diverse subspecialty expertise, whose native language is Spanish. It is the strategic intent of the Academy to expand its educational influence for global outreach, and thus to help fulfill the dream of Dr. Santini Araujo. Course Objectives • Educate Latin American pathologists in their own primary language, with creation of digital educational assets in Spanish for global distribution • Stimulate learning through didactic presentations and case-based discussions in breast pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, and gynecologic pathology • Study selected important diseases of the thyroid, salivary glands and other head and neck lesions including cytologic analysis. • Review emerging and relevant problems in pulmonary and urinary tract pathology. • Contrast the process of mummification in ancient Egypt with cryopreservation of Incan mummies in the context of religion and ritual sacrifices. • Explore the organization of a multidisciplinary center of cyto-radiologic correlative diagnosis.
