American Dermoscopy Meeting 2020 is organized by Next Meeting Generation (NMG) and will be held from Jul 15 - 18, 2020 at Dixie Convention Center, Saint George, Utah, United States of America. Target Audience: Dermatology, Family Medicine Accreditation: The University of Cincinnati designates this live activity for a maximum of 23.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Course Description: This 3 ½ day, comprehensive CME activity will utilize evidence-based data around the diagnosis, management and treatment of skin cancers and nevi. The program format is designed to include case studies, interactive discussion and intimate break out sessions. The breakout sessions are intended to create a comfortable teaching level for both the beginner and advance learners. Objectives: As a result of participating in this activity, participants should be able to: • Outline a logical and easy to follow framework for the dermoscopic evaluation of cutaneous lesions, nail lesions, rashes and infestations. • Identify the features of both melanocytic and non-melanocytic lesions, and also identify features to help differentiate benign from malignant lesions. • Outline a management approach for lesions, based on their clinical and dermoscopic morphology. • Discuss the armamentarium of treatments available for managing actinic keratosis and for prevention (including chemoprevention) of skin cancer. • Realize that dermoscopy is not only the gateway to diagnosis but also the entry point to improved management and treatment. It highlights the added benefit of ancillary tests and devices to assist in rendering an accurate diagnosis or in obtaining more precise prognostic information. This includes but is not limited to digital monitoring, confocal microscopy and gene expression profiling.
