Credit Hours: 18 Course Description: This Three-day Continuing Education course designed for dentists in South and Central America, addresses a core theme based on the latest news from each specialty.The first class will be from Orthodontics, due to the greater popularity of this specialty in the countries where the program will be offered. This program is presentated in colloboration with NSU College of Dental Medicine faculty. Preceptorship Program In Periodontology is organized by Nova Southeastern University (NSU) and will be held from Jul 01, 2020 - Jun 30, 2021 at NSU Main Campus, Davie, Florida, United States of America. Course Description: The Preceptorship Program in Periodontology is intended for graduates of dental schools outside of the United States and Canada. The program offers a didactic training as well as clinical exposure and observation. The Preceptorship in Periodontology is a full time program. Prospective students will participate in lectures, seminars and hands on activities along with the postgraduate residents. Clinical activities are limited to observation and assistance in the planning and execution of non-surgical and surgical procedures.
