Yosdel Soto PhD

Dr. Yosdel Soto earned his PhD from the University of Havana, Cuba (2015) and completed his postdoctoral studies at the University of Alberta, Canada. He is currently the head of the Atherosclerosis project at the Center for Molecular Immunology (Havana, Cuba) where he has contributed substantially to the development of a monoclonal antibody as idiotypic vaccine for atherosclerosis. Dr. Soto has published 15 papers in reputed journals, is member of several scientific organizations and has been honored with several prestigious awards. For his achievements, Dr. Soto was recently elected Associate Member of the Cuban Academy of Sciences.
