Wayne Bowers PhD, ABPP, FAED

Dr. Bowers has been working in the field of eating disorders since 1977 and has trained in Cognitive Therapy with Aaron Beck at the Center for Cognitive Therapy. He has been the director of the Eating Disorders Program at the University of Iowa and was instrumental in establishing their Cognitive Therapy inpatient and partial hospital programs. He has presented at national and international conferences on eating disorders and depression and is currently the Co-Chair of the Research Practice Committee of the Academy for Eating Disorders.
