Dr. Valerie Peck is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine, NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Peck is a prominent member of the Division of Endocrinology with a large clinical practice in endocrinology, and a major teaching role of students, residents, and endocrine fellows. Dr. Peck graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College, Columbia University and earned her medical degree from the NYU School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Bellevue-NYU Medical Center, where she also completed her fellowship in Endocrinology.

Dr Peck’s clinical practice encompasses all areas of endocrinology with emphasis on thyroid, parathyroid, osteoporosis, menopause, PCOS, pituitary, adrenal, and obesity. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Peck is involved in clinical research projects in the areas of thyroid and osteoporosis. Dr. Peck is recognized by NYU Langone Medical Center for her expertise in thyroid diseases, which are a large part of her clinical practice and one of her research interests. Dr. Peck is a faculty member of the NYU Langone Thyroid Unit and is the Co-Director of the New York Thyroid Club. She is a member of the Clinical Affairs Committee of the American Thyroid Association.
