Terese Bondas MHSc, RN, PHN, PhD

Terese Bondas (PhD, Licentiate of Health Sciences, MHSc, RN, PHN) is Professor of Nursing Science and Research Dean, Faculty of Professional Studies, Nord University, Norway and Adjunct Professor (Methods of Health Research), University of Eastern Finland. Her previous Professorships have been at University College of Borås, Sweden and Åbo Akademi University, Finland. Professor Bondas has been the leader of several Nordic and European research training courses and workshops in qualitative research in international collaboration, attracting researchers and doctoral students from several European countries, and initiating research collaboration.

She is the author of more than 60 original articles, and the co-editor and author of several books and reports. She has supervised 11 doctoral theses in several countries, and is currently supervising 5 doctoral students in the field of elderly care among others as the leader of a research group in health care leadership and innovation in care. Professor Bondas is editorial member of Journal of Advanced Nursing since 2008, Medicina, (MRN), 2010-, and Journal of Global Qualitative Nursing Research, 2014-.
