Stefan F. Nemec

Stefan F. Nemec graduated from the Medical University of Vienna in 2003. Subsequently, he received his radiology residency training at the Vienna General Hospital, with several different types of head and neck imaging comprising his primary interest. In 2009, he joined the staff at the Division of Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Radiology, Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-guided Therapy, Medical University of Vienna. From 2010 to 2013, he also completed radiological research fellowships at the Department of Radiology, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, Boston, as well as at the Medical Genetics Institute, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles. In May 2013, he completed the habilitation procedure based on the thesis “Fetal sexual development on prenatal MR imaging.“ Thereafter, he was appointed an Associate Professor at the Medical University of Vienna. Dr. Nemec’s current work focuses on head and neck imaging in dentistry, cranio-maxillo-facial surgery, and ENT medicine.
