Dr. Sarah Ravin brings a fresh perspective to her clinical work, which is grounded in the latest scientific research on the etiology and treatment of mental disorders. Dr. Ravin earned a B.A. in Psychology from Smith College in 2001 and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from American University in 2008. Since 2009, she has been in solo private practice in Coral Gables, FL, where she provides consultation, assessment, and treatment for children, adolescents, and young adults with eating disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and related issues.

Dr. Ravin specializes in Maudsley Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders as well as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression. Channeling her natural energy, passion, dedication, perseverance, and optimism into her work, Dr. Ravin is committed to helping each patient achieve full recovery. An active member of the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED), the Association for the Advancement of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), and the American Psychological Association (APA), Dr. Ravin also writes a popular blog on eating disorders and related topics in psychology.
