Dr. Goodlin ascended to the presidency of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, quite an honour for a Canadian Dentist to head the American Academy. He has also held positions on the advisory boards of both Spectrum and Team Work Dental journals. He acted as the editor of the Canadian Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry for many years and was previously the President of the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Goodlin is a co-founder of the Canadian Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry as well as being a past president of the Aurora Dental Study club, an advisor and member of the PA study club and the Toronto Crown and Bridge Study club. Dr. Goodlin feels it is his responsibility to keep up with the latest, most efficient and modern up to date technology so he can make your dental experience the best it can be!

An avid and renowned wildlife photographer, Dr. Goodlin is a well respected member of the dental and photographic communities. With any contributions in both fields Dr. Goodlin takes pride in sharing his expertise, he has authored a Text Book used in the Dental schools and has written a multitude of articles on Cosmetic Dentistry and Dental Photography. His photos have been featured in several one man shows, coffee table books and have even appeared on the National Geographic website! He has a very busy lecture schedule traveling across North America and Europe to teach fellow colleagues in the latest cosmetic Dentistry and photography techniques.
