Richard Stoll PhD

Prof. Stoll started his dental career as a certified dental technician. He graduated from Philipps University in Marburg, Germany in 1986 and finished his Doctoral Degree and three years of training in Endodontology in 1990. His PhD (Habilitation) was completed in 2003. He started his research in the Department of Prosthodontics and Metallurgy at Tokyo Medical & Dental University in 1989. In 2008 he was promoted to Associate Professor and in 2012 he was appointed Professor of Restorative Dentistry at James Cook University.

He is currently working on the clinical aspects of ceramic restorations in aesthetic dentistry and in the expansive field of endodontology and adhesive dentistry with composite materials. Prof. Stoll has been a visiting Professor in the department of Operative Dentistry in San Antonio and the department of Operative Dentistry and Endodontology in Budapest.
