Rebecca Kruse-jarresDirector, Associate Professor | Seattle, Washington
Dr. Kruse-Jarres is the director of the Washington Center for Bleeding Disorders at Bloodworks Northwest. She is also an associate professor of medicine and adjunct associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington. She has over 10 years of experience treating hematologic and bleeding disorders in both children and adults. She has regular clinics for people with inherited and acquired bleeding conditions at Bloodworks NW, Seattle Children’s Hospital and during outreach clinics across the state of Washington. She also has a regular clinic at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance where she cares for people with various hematologic disorders including sickle cell anemia.
Besides a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology, she completed a 2 year fellowship in coagulation medicine sponsored by the National Hemophilia Foundation. She has been listed in the “Best Doctors in America” for several years. She is on the board of directors of the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Research Society and is an active member of the American Society of Hematology. She has multiple publications in her field and is a reviewer for several major medical journals.
