Rajiv Jauhar MD, FACC, FSCAI

Dr. Rajiv Jauhar got his MD from the University of Chicago, Pritzker. He completed internal medicine residency at University of California, San Diego and his cardiology training at NY Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. He joined Northwell Health in 2001 and became chief of cardiology in 2015. In 2017, he was promoted to Vice Chairman of the Sandra Atlas Bass Heart Hospital. His clinical research interests include heart disease among South Asians and has published several papers on the role of coronary artery size as a risk factor for heart disease among South Asians. He actively works to educate the South Asian community on risks of heart disease.
