Priya Kuppusamy MD

Dr. Priya Kuppusamy is an adjunct Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine and works at the University of Maryland Capital Region Health. After her residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Center in 2011, she completed a Chief Year as well as the Faculty Development and ACEP Teaching Fellowships. Her interests include Risk Management education and patient safety. She is the co-creator and first Fellow for the new Emergency Medicine Risk Management Fellowship at the University of Maryland. Dr. Kuppusamy currently serves as the Compliance Officer as well as Physician Risk Mitigation Officer for Maryland Emergency Medicine Network.
