Praveen Advani has more than 17 years of experience leading global market research efforts for new products and in-line brands in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Praveen is currently Executive Director, Worldwide Market Research – Immuno-Oncology at Bristol-Myers Squibb.
He was previously the Director & Team Leader for Womens Health, Insomnia and Pain Franchises in Global Market Research & Analytics at Merck. In his 9 years at Merck, he successfully led global market research efforts for the launches of Diabetes (Januvia/Janumet) and Glaucoma (Saflutan) drugs. Prior to Merck, Praveen was with Aventis Pharmaceuticals (now Sanofi-Aventis) for over 6 years and was instrumental in leading global market research for the successful launch of Lantus.
Praveen holds a M.B.A. from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management and a Bachelors degree in Engineering from the University of Pune, India
