Paul Michael Copeland MD

Dr. Copeland joined NSMC in 1984 and has been Chief of Endocrinology for 20 years. During his tenure, he has expanded the Diabetes Management Program, certified by the American Diabetes Association, initiated a bone density testing center that he currently co-directs, and received an excellence in teaching award, all of this while mentoring young endocrinologists during residency and their early stages of practice. In 2006 Dr. Copeland was selected by Boston Magazine as one of the “top docs” in endocrinology. Dr. Copeland attended Yale University School of Medicine before completing a residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.
