Pankaj Gupta was a US and Australia-trained Pediatric cardiologist and Cardiac MRI specialist, with over 10 years of postgraduate experience in Pediatric Cardiology. During his career, He has acquired advanced clinical and research skills in interventional cardiology, cardiac MRI, and Echocardiography (including trans-esophageal echocardiogram). Currently, He was doing a fellowship in advanced cardiac imaging at Sydney Children's hospital network, Australia.

He completed post-graduation in Pediatrics (MD.) in 2006, from the University College of medical sciences, New Delhi, India. Subsequently, He worked as a senior registrar in the Pediatric Division of Cardiology department at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. Consequently, He did a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology (Fellowship of the national board, India) at Fortis Escorts heart institute and research center, New Delhi followed by a faculty position (consultant) at the same institute.

He joined the Sydney children’s hospital network (Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Sydney children’s hospital) in July 2011 as a fellow in Pediatric Cardiology. He also served as a lecturer at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Australia. Successfully completed SCAI interventional cardiology fellow course in the USA (2014).

Subsequently, He did a fellowship in Cardiac MRI at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, and completed a Master of Philosophy (Postgraduate research degree in cardiovascular MRI) at the University of Sydney. Currently enrolled in Masters's in health management with the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
