Natalia N. Egorova PhD

Dr. Natalia N. Egorova is currently working as associate professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, USA. She received PhD on biology from the Leningrad State University, USSR. She completed his Master's degree from the Columbia University of USA. She then worked at the Columbia University, NY, served as Associate Professor and Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at NY. She has authored several publications in various journals and books, including 4 publications in JAMA. These publications reflect her research interests in assessing the effectiveness of clinical interventions in actual practice settings. Toward this end She have developed expertise in the use of large health care administrative databases, health care surveys and clinical warehouse data to address questions about long-term outcomes of care. She is currently in charge of on-going scholarly project: severe maternal morbidity and readmissions; Association between severe maternal morbidity and neonatal morbidity/mortality; health-care quality indicators.
