Dr. Graham trained in internal medicine and nuclear medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle, and is board-certified in both areas. He was on the
Nuclear Medicine faculty at the University of Washington from 1980 to 1999, and has been Professor of Radiology, and Director of Nuclear Medicine at the University of Iowa since 1999 He was a member of the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (chair from 2004-2005) and was also a member of the ACGME Residency Review Committee for Nuclear Medicine (chair from 2001-2004). He founded the Nuclear Medicine Program Directors Association and spearheaded the movement to extend the Nuclear Medicine training program from 2 to 3
years. He has been active in the Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM), as chair of the Computer, Brain Imaging, and Academic Councils, as President of the Pacific Northwest Chapter, and as a member of the Board of Directors.
