Maureen Benbow BA

Maureen Benbow’s clinical experience spans over 20 years working in the specialities of medicine, surgery, emergency care and orthopaedics before accepting the position of the third Tissue Viability Nurse appointed in the UK. After 13 years in that role, she moved into education and taught at the University of Chester. Her experience prepared her well for undertaking clinical governance inspections in all healthcare settings and for medicolegal expert witness work over the last 20 years. She currently prepares 40-50 breach of duty and causation and condition and prognosis reports each year. Her interests include travelling, writing for publication, gardening and computing.
