Matthew G. Sorrells PhD

Matt has been a fellow at CU Innovations since February of 2020. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Colorado School of Mines / University Colorado Denver where he uses microfluidic devices to model and studies the underlying biophysics and biochemistry of blood clotting. His main project focuses on modeling bleeding and clotting in the microvasculature to better understand the causes of bleeding in bleeding disorders. Previously, Matt received a BS in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University in 2016.
