Matthew Siket, MD, is co-director of the emergency center stroke centers at Rhode Island and The Miriam hospitals and is an assistant professor of emergency medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. His primary research interest is in risk stratification in the transient ischemic attack. Siket completed his residency in emergency medicine at Alpert Medical School and a fellowship funded by the National Institutes of Health in the specialized program of translational research in acute stroke (SPOTRIAS) within the Department of Neurology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Siket received his master in science in interdisciplinary biomedical science from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School, in Newark, New Jersey.
