Mary Alexis Iaccarino is a fellow in Brain Injury Medicine in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Harvard Medical School. She received her medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Spaulding. Her clinical interests are in the sport and blast-related mild traumatic brain injury. Dr. Iaccarino’s current research interests are in cerebrovascular regulation in mild TBI and the impact of premorbid and secondary attention deficits on recovery after mild TBI. She provides clinical care in the Massachusetts General Hospital Youth Sports Concussion Clinic and the MGH Home Base Program for military veterans with mild TBI.
