Marianne Miller brings to TCAR Education Programs an extensive background in both pediatric and adult trauma care. Ms. Miller’s 20+ years of trauma experience range from the bedside care of critically injured children to case management positions at a level 1 adult trauma and burn center and an acute spinal cord injury rehabilitation program. Most recently, Marianne served as the trauma coordinator at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, part of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Ms. Miller’s responsibilities included performance improvement, accreditation standard compliance, nursing education, and outpatient trauma clinic management. She has also been the lead author of multiple clinical effectiveness guidelines and co-investigator in various pediatric studies. Marianne’s passion for lifelong learning and nursing excellence led to her to pursue a master’s degree in nursing education from Chatham University. She currently serves as adjunct faculty for RN-to-BSN nursing programs at both Chatham University and Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania.
