Linda Haynes Slowik PhD

Dr. Linda Haynes Slowik is an industrial/organizational psychologist and Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Detroit Mercy. Her primary research interests focus on understanding how people perceive their work environment and how such views drive behavior, including the nature of the social experience and its relationship to stress. Her research has been funded by the National Institute of Health, Ford Poling Foundation, and the National Cranio-facial Dental Research Institute, among other agencies. Her scholarly work can be found in outlets including the Academy of Management Journal, Human Relations, and Journal of Organizational and Occupational Psychology, to name a few.
