Leanne Hides PhD

Professor Leanne Hides holds a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Senior Research Fellowship and the industry-supported Lives Lived Well Chair in Alcohol, Drugs, and Mental Health at the University of Queensland, Australia. She co-leads the Federal Government funded grant for the Centre for Youth Substance Abuse Research (CESAR; $5.8m 2017-2022), the only youth-focused substance use research centre in Australia. Leanne is a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of clinical and research experience in the development and testing of treatments for primary substance use and comorbid mental disorders in young people, including web and mobile-based programs.
