Karen Conway PhD, BCBA-D

Dr. Conway has been a licensed psychologist since 1984 as well as a board certified behavior analyst at the doctorate level since 2008. She has over 30 years of experience working with children and families affected by mental health challenges including learning disabilities, autism, and social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

Dr. Conway conducts psycho-educational test batteries to assess a variety of cognitive, behavioral and emotional challenges and issues. Her test batteries can assess for issues such as a specific learning difference/challenge, ADHD, depression, executive functioning issues, anxiety, development disorders and many others. Dr. Conway’s assessments can be for children ranging from 2 to 18 years of age. She is well connected within the professional community and helps clients access the appropriate supports for their children.

Dr. Conway ensures that parents fully understand the extensive report provided them and how to implement the treatment plan. She can assist the parents all the way through treatment and help determine if treatment is effective through follow up tests. Dr. Conway helps parents determine their child’s needs at school and consults with parents and school staff as to best meet these needs. She is a “team player” and can facilitate coordination of services from various professionals for the best interest of the child. Dr. Conway is also qualified to provide accommodations testing for children on College Board exams. In addition to psycho-educational assessments, Dr. Conway provides parent education, Independent Education Evaluations, and expert witness testimony.
