Joseph Frank MerolaMD, MSc, MMSc
Joseph F. Merola, MD, MMSc, is an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School. He is also director of the Clinical Unit for Research Innovation and Trials (CUReIT), co-director of the Center for Skin and Related Musculoskeletal Diseases, and associate program director for the combined internal medicine-dermatology residency training program. In addition,
Dr. Merola is on the medical board of the National Psoriasis Foundation. His clinical and research interests are focused on psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Dr. Merola received an MD from the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine and a MMSc from Harvard Medical School. He completed dermatology training and was chief resident at the NYU School of Medicine, and he trained in internal medicine and rheumatology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Merola is board-certified in internal medicine, dermatology, and rheumatology.
