Jorie M. Butler PhD

Dr. Jorie Butler is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Geriatrics at the University of Utah, Associate Director for Education and Evaluation in the Geriatric Research and Clinical Center (GRECC), and a core Investigator in the Health Services Research and Development Center of Innovation (COIN) at the Salt Lake City VA. She is trained as a Health Psychologist, she has studied ways to support patients and providers in decision-making using biomedical informatics and ways that personal characteristics influence experiences of decision-making. She has published in journals including Health Psychology, Academic Medicine, American Medical Informatics Association Proceedings, and Clinical Trials.
