Biography :

Halil Ibrahim Erdim was born in Cyprus. He became a mining engineer in 1974 (Istanbul Technical University). Until 1992 he worked in limestone quarries, brick factories, gypsum factories, foundries, metal working shops. Between 1992- 2002 he published books and magazines in his small offset printing shop. After 2002 he took part in Environmental Impact Assessment reports and quarry management plans. He participated local and international activities such as UN Sustainable development Studies in Newyork (2008), EU Greenweek studies in Brussels (2009), XXI International Congress of Occupational Safety and Health in Singapore (2017) . Since 2009 he is Occupational Safety and Health Trainer and lecturer in Cyprus International University since 2016.He has more than 40 published books and 20 of them are about occupational Safety and Health. He has more than 1000 printed newspaper articles. He took part in establishing a lot of NGO’s in North Cyprus.
