Francis D Souza PhD

Francis D'Souza, professor of chemistry, has been named a 2013 Distinguished Research Professor. Dr. D'Souza has earned an international reputation with his groundbreaking research in supramolecular chemistry. Fellow researchers consider him a pioneer in the field whose scholarship has tremendous real-word applications. D'Souza's publications total more than 240 refereed articles and book chapters. He has also collaborated on nearly 90 international joint publications. "Further evidence of the high quality of his work is that Professor D'Souza's research has been featured on the covers of 18 journals and books," says Del McDaniel, associate dean for research in the College of Arts and Sciences.
