Dr. Fabian Rengier heads the emergency radiology section and focuses on cardiovascular radiology in the clinic for diagnostic and interventional radiology at Heidelberg University Hospital, where he works as a senior physician. He completed his studies in human medicine and his doctorate in Heidelberg with stations in Great Britain, New Zealand, Australia, and Switzerland.
The expertise of the working group includes, among other things, the acquisition and analysis of computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data of the heart and pulmonary vessels. A major goal is to support non-invasive diagnostics in patients with pulmonary hypertension by quantifying the morphology and function of the heart and pulmonary vessels.
