Evelyn M. Garcia MD

Dr. Garcia joined Carilion in 2008 and was promoted to Section Chief of Body Imaging in 2009. She was appointed to her current position in 2011. Her major responsibility is to ensure clinical quality and safety for patients and staff. Prior to joining Carilion, Dr. Garcia was on staff at Pioneer Valley Hospital in West Valley City, Utah. She has given several presentations on radiology, imaging, radiation doses and advanced cardiac imaging with multi-detector CT.

During her time at the University of Utah, she was the fourth-year Radiology Clerkship Director for the University of Utah School of Medicine. She holds medical licenses in Utah, Illinois, New Mexico and Virginia. Based on her outstanding academic performance in medical school, Dr. Garcia was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Garcia enjoys collaborating as a member of the multi-disciplinary TAVR team.
