Erika Harvey

Erika is a nurse and nursing instructor who leapt into the deep end of the tech pool after the death of her husband resulting from poor UI in the new hospital’s HER system. She has spent the last two years, learning how to program and design UX that makes intelligent sense for her patients. Her biggest surprise was to find out that she had been performing user research and design her entire nursing career. She has also started a non profit that rescues food from corporate events and “transports” it to places that are known to the homeless population and now moxxie.io who will be debuting their new device “Soteria “ in the early part of 2017.
