Emmanuel Ankrah Odame MBCHB, MPH

Emmanuel Odame is the Director of Policy, Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation of the Ministry of Health, Ghana. He was the technical lead for the development of the Universal Health Coverage Roadmap (2020-2030) for Ghana; and also the focal point for Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the health sector. He is a Steering Committee Member for Universal Health Coverage (UHC2030) based in Geneva. He is a Board member of Phoenix Heath Insurance, the Christian Health Association of Ghana, and Ghana College of Pharmacy.

Emmanuel holds a degree in Medicine and a masters in health policy all from the University of Ghana. He also has a specialist qualification in health policy from the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons. He has additional qualifications in negotiation and leadership from Harvard Law School. He has also had a lot of training in discipleship, and missions.
